The deVille were a rich family that arrived in the Kingdom of Piers with the first pioneers. Soon after, however, they started a long and steady decline, losing lands, money, and influence. Nowadays, they pretty much have nothing left except a ruined estate and barely enough to live. Their lands, once surrounded by a thick forest and lush flower gardens, have slowly been claimed by the forest and today the deVille’s crumbling manor is practically part of it. In this isolated place, Lescault learned to live on the rough. His father a hopeless dreamer and his mother long gone out of desperation, Lescault’s only companions were the old gardener and some fairies in the woods. But the dusty books in the old library soon filled his head with stories about the kingdom, and the young man, yearning to discover more, eventually left.
Life on the road was not easy at first, but Lescault quickly adapted to this new lifestyle. Now a travelling entertainer, he wanders the land with no other goal than to discover and have fun.
Lescault is easy-going, carefree and somewhat whimsical. He likes to entertain and plan wild schemes and he’s always interested in good adventure. He also likes to drink.
